Have two daughters that have danced at Above the Barre. I can't say enough about the high quality of instruction and instructors!!! Definitely something at the studio for every interest level, from non-competitive tots classes up to our elite travel team.

Last year was Scarlett's first year of dance, I have researched so many dance studios in the Quad Cities and so happy we found this studio. I am a mom that asked a ton of questions and Kim and each dance teacher was awesome to help me out. My most favorite part about this studio is the encouraging words, friendships and how they met each child's goals in each class. Thank-you very much!!!

The teachers are absolutely incredible. Not only do they teach hundreds of girls every week to dance, they also teach them so many important life lessons. They are also so good at making sure each child feels loved and supported. They have made a group of strangers become a happy family and I could not be more grateful for what they have done for me!

My daughter has been a part of the Above the Barre dance family for several years now. And that is what it is, a family! She has learned so much about hard work, dedication, self-discipline and teamwork. She loves it here and has so many great role models in the older dancers who study here. We are blessed that we found my daughter a forever dance home!

Above the Barre Dance Academy isn't just a dance studio; it's a place to grow as a person as well. With past experience at a different studio, I can hands down say that ATB is the most loving, talented, productive working environment, and I am forever blessed to have gotten the opportunity to thrive there. The staff is phenomenal, I promise they will change your child's life if you let them. The dancing skills, companionships, and memories I have from my time as an ATB dancer are unforgettable. I don't know where I'd be without ATB, even after I am gone and graduated. I will forever be a proud alum, and I would absolutely do it all again in a heartbeat if I had the chance to.

My daughter has been at ATB since she was 2 and since that time she has been taken in as one of the family. The classes she took when she was little we're fun, activity based, and I don't think she even picked up on the fact she was learning important dance basics. My daughter then joined the competition team and has been thriving in this environment. Anyone who sees us at competitions will comment on how good our dances are, but also what a strong knit family we are. Whether you are looking to start your little ballerina or jump in to competition there is no better place than ATB!

My 4.5 y/o daughter, Harper, had a BLAST this week at "Join the Circus" Dance Camp at ATB in LeClaire! She loved the dance routine, crafts, tumbling & new Friends! I wish we were going to be around for the Trolls themed camp in August!

My daughter has loved dancing here. This has been an amazing experience for her and she has become an aspiring dancer and has big dreams to continue to dance for years to come.

It's a family not just a dance academy. Bryn has gained so much more confidence and loves dance again. It really means something great when your child comes off of the stage and is SO excited she can't contain it and says "That was awesome!!"

Kaylin just started at ATB this spring and has already grown by leaps and bounds under the training from the extraordinary teachers! It's not everywhere that you find such exemplary teachers, and it doesn't stop there... every member of the staff and all the students and parents we have met here are incredible too! We are beyond words thankful for Kim and her staff for allowing Kaylin to learn and grow in such a healthy and fun environment! We love Above the Barre...for many reasons. The dance training is top notch, but more important is the care and support you get from not only the staff and teachers, but the other parents. It's truly another family. The creativity stretches beyond their amazing choreography into the weekly class themes (and holiday activities) for the non-competitive kiddos as well. I am confident both of my girls are getting a well-rounded dance education while also learning wonderful life lessons and simply how to be a good human.

Above The Barre is by far the BEST studio we've ever been to! Each and every instructor is exceptional from their phenomenal training to the genuine attention, care, and love for each student. And you can always rest assured that the choreography for each dance is always FANTASTIC no matter what age or level your dancer is at... I'm blown away by all the fun ideas they always come up with. It truly does feel like a family here and we are so thankful for all the wonderful friends we have found here. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for the best training, choreography, leadership, and fun with friends! My daughter adores being there and we feel so grateful to have found such an incredible dance family. 5 out of 5 stars... no question!!!! Check it out! I can't say enough about this place. Kim Munn is hands down one of the best humans I have ever met. Her qualities stream down through her staff, the dancers, and the parents. It truly feels like a big extended family. These kids are taught much more than dance at this studio. If your child loves dance, this is the place for him or her.

ATB has been wonderful for my daughters who have been dancing there since they were 3. The studio is clean, the environment is a family feel from the moment you walk in. The instructors teach proper technique and encourage the dancers both on and off the dance floor. The costumes are age appropriate and emphasis is placed on striving to always try your best, be kind and have fun

I can't say enough wonderful things about ATB!! Both my girls love the friendships they have made there, they have amazing teachers and staff that make this place like a second family! We have been with them for 5 years and they have helped my girls grow to be beautiful amazing dancers- the quality, instruction and technique is exceptional!! I can't say enough of how loving and encouraging the environment has been there, not only from the teachers and staff but from the other dancers the way they cheer each other on to uplift them is just amazing!! Best dance studio around hands down!!

Kim and the staff at Above the Barre have such a passion for dance and sharing it with these kids. My daughter looks forward to her time in the studio and I've seen her grow so much in the short time she's attended. All the older girls are so sweet and caring which is a testament to the fact that they are not only teaching the girls dance but also kindness. We just love it here!

We moved to the Quad Cities and were welcomed with open arms to Above the Barre. My daughter had to leave her previous competition team and was so upset, but Kim allowed her to join the ATB team for the upcoming year. My daughter has grown so much on this team and we are so grateful for Kim and her entire staff.

ATB has been a positive experience for my daughter. It has taught her how to work together as a team during her group dances. It has also helped her with balance, coordination, flexibility and strength. She looks forward to going to the studio to dance and meet with all her friends at ATB. A great place for sure.

This is our first experience with a dance school and it's been so great! They respond very quickly to emails, communicate very frequently and it's so convenient to have a dancewear store right next door! My daughter loves her teacher, Miss Emma-she is very patient, and kind. My daughter has come lightyears in her abilities since we began class!

The team at ATB always goes above and beyond. Everyone works very hard to make sure the kids are having fun and learning. We look forward to going to class every week.

Above The Barre has given my daughter the most positive and constructive introduction into the world of dance. My daughter joined ATB a month after her third birthday, and she was shy and uncertain in class. The instructors were encouraging, patient, and wonderful. Almost two years later, my daughter is having the time of her life as a little ATB dancer. She's more confident and poised and she looks forward to every class. We're looking forward to years of dance ahead at ATB.
